Cardinal's Guards gain and give an extra SP when attending Confirmations. Benedictines now get +1 to becoming theological scholars and an extra SP for teaching. (So they're no longer without benefit after being ordained).
No benefits for Huguenots as I think they're best seen as a RP challenge.
A member of the Clergy changing orders still lose the SL but goes in at the rank they've already attained, unless switching from Catholic to Protestant or vice versa.

Clergy career and Church section split into two.

Ok, I'm rewriting the ranks and promotion entirely to try and make them a bit more exciting. This is the first big change I think.

Now that children are begining to appear, another detail to be added to church rules is bapthisms, as weddings and funerals are...

Yeah, that's a good ide ai think. Currently I'm handling them like weddings but possibly a bit more detail would work.

I think the s big change for baptism is Godparents. If AB dies before marrying for instance, would the godparent receive the child, and be guardian of ABs estate?

I think it was asked elsewhere but I think that clergy should be eligible for titles. Of course they should not be inheritable and all lands and titles return to the crown. Probably should be limited to upper clergy. Income should go to the church but the holder could embezzle.

Yeah, I asked it elsewhere and I think they probably should be historically at least.

Agreed, and I think Louis iV was the first to attempt to create titles de pur honneur - titles without fiefs, so if you are going to introduce this, - the estate comes with the title - as long as it doesnt break the game.

Are non laity allowed to buy Bishoprics or be awarded them under the new rules, and pay an npc priest to look after the diocese while they take the earnings?

No, but if you have ideas for that it's not too late

Another question I've just thought about: Wedding/funerals/Baptisms are a special way to attend mass. Can donations (for more SPs, as per 15.2) may be also gi ven in those cases? Suggestions (from most generous to less ones): - Yes, donations can be dona anytime one attends a mass
- Only for the attendants, not for the organizer (the one earning the same Sps as the cleric), as for him it's assumed in the costs/SPs gained for the ceremony itself
- No, As said, those are special masses, and public attention is not on the donations (though the presents for the groom replace it in weddings1)
Note 1: not sure if presents rules also apply in baptisms, of course not applicable to funerals
