Carriages are the same, just changing the numbering. As you'll see, houses have changed quite a lot. The main changes: Characters now live in different areas, from the low prestige Passy to the incredibly posh Ile de Cite. The SP penalty for rooms (now garrets) has been removed making it all carrot and no stick. At the higher levels, houses cost a fair bit more both to buy and maintain. In general, more SP is given to make up for that. The main things this gives us is a) more for wealthy characters to spend their money on and b) the more immersive thing of actually living in parts of Paris. Mechanically, I think you're all going to be happy with this. Only one PC is going to lose money on this and everyone else is due a refund. Everyone is either on the same SP they were before or better. I'll be messaging people individually about changing their characters accomodation to the new rules, but if anyone wants to upgrade (mostly for prestige reasons I suspect) just for the transition: No advocate fee is needed. Is the 10% for stabling calculated after the premium for location? (i.e. stabling for a Fine House in La Villette would cost 60L but a stabling for a Fine House in Monmarte would cost 78L)
Does this mean that racehorses can't be stabled on an IdF estate and are denied the "Near Paris" benefit?
No mention is made of private balls. Is that no longer an option for PCs?

Is the 10% for stabling calculated after the premium for location? (i.e. stabling for a Fine House in La Villette would cost 60L but a stabling for a Fine House in Monmarte would cost 78L) That's correct. At the moment it's still allowed, but I'm thinking of removing that from the racehorse section anyway. (On the grounds that the extra cost of racehorse upkeep is actually things like diet and a trainer, not stabling). That absolutely is an option for PCs and will have its own section! I'm hoping to make private parties a bit more interesting than just having them identical to club parties. People may want to note for buying up higher levels that dinner parties will be available to all PCs, but balls will be much grander events in mansions and chateaus. In terms of when it'll be done, I'm currently finishing off "stuff you can buy" (only a few sections there) and next will be "stuff you can do", which is where the new party rules will appear.
