Your Eminency,
You’re sure aware of the demise of who was for some time the Captain of your Guard, SIeur Arnald d’Blancheur, who found the hero’s death while fighting against the Habsburg in our southern border.
As former member of your Guard too, and so seeing him as a Regimental friend, I intend to organize his funeral the second week this September, and I’m sure Your Eminency will be glad to honor him by officering it.
After the Funeral, I’ll host a wake in the Fleur the Lys, and, though I know you’re a busy man, I would feel quite honored (and I guess he would too) if you attended this meeting to honor your former Guard Captain.
Your son in Christ Comte Huillaume de Déols
OOC: see that according the rules, he being SL 16, an Archbishop would be the right cleric for the ceremony. I’m not sure if the Cardinal will make an exception to the former Captain of his Guard, but, if not so, the Most Reverend Jean-François de Gondi, Archbishop of Paris, will be asked to.
In any case, Huillaume invites His Eminency the Cardinal to the wake in Fleur de Lys (I guess invitation to a Royal rules apply here).

OOC: The Cardinal is still not willing to preside over a lower SL funeral, but the wake invite is possible!

OOC: then, as stated, the Most Reverend Jean-François de Gondi, Archbishop of Paris, is asked to office the funeral (so the better for Huillaume's purse, at a cost of some SPs, unfortunately not only for him, but for any attandant).
Nonetheless, the invite to His Eminency to attend the wake keeps
