Most Reverend Jean François de Gondi1,
As you were the one to bless my marriage with the Comtesse Emelin, I would consider a honor if you agreed to also officiate the baptism of our first son Renné, born, as you probably know, last month of July of the year of Our Lord 1633.
Your son in Christ Comte Huillaume de Déols
OOC: Huillaume asks the Archbishop of Paris to officiate the baptism of his son According 15.12 "An NPC will always perform the ceremony if asked", and while 15.12 is abiut weddings, I guess this applies also to baptisms (and funerals), though not explicited. Huillaume will also like to be praised in thc ceremony...
Note 1: According wikipedia, Jean François de Gondi was the first Archbishop of Paris, from 1622 to 1654 (previously, Paris had a Bishop, not an Archbishop).

You've just wrecked Sams rules, as GC is still subject to the Archbishop of Sens, though most of the isle de france region dioceses came under the AB of Paris! I look forward to having a readable screen this weekend and ecclesiastical rules fun. Incidentally, the Archbishops of Paris also carried the title of Duc de Saint-Cloud attached to the office (albeit 50 years later). although the Archbishop of Sens was also Viscomte de Sens, from the office, since 1622, and all curates of Sens were Chevalier de Sens from 1622 too

OOC: I think we can handwave this for now until the new rules arrive any day now!

OOC: Due to the new rules, and with the apporval of the GM, this letter to the Archbishop is retconned as to the Caridnal (posted on another thread). Other related pots will also be edited accordingly
