Think this is the last little bit of new rules before March. Note that these rules are generally a bad idea. They're here for people who want the fun of playing a cad. If a characters that holds a rank or appointment is disgraced he may be sacked by the person who commands him or appointed him as appropriate if he deems that the reason for disgrace is incompatible with his appointment. NPCs will do this on 4+ (influence may be used). If the sacked person feels that he has been wronged by another character, he may issue a challenge to duel. The duel is fought on his return from disgrace. The GMs will determine if he has cause. Characters at the frontier in disgrace may return to Paris early or may refuse to go to the Frontier in the first place. If they do, they become a Knave and suffer the following penalties: All mistress courting & liaisons at -2. All appointment rolls at -2. No status points are gained from having a Knave toady to another character, or from toadying to him. Anyone who allows a Knave to toady to him loses SPs equal to half the Knaveās SL. Anyone meeting a Knave may challenge him to a duel on sight with cause. Challenges from Knaves may be declined without loss of status. Club membership is revoked. The character cannot practise at the Schools The character is banned from Court.
