Or keep the House parties as this higher Sl attending per guest ss house paries (remember, after all, you must also buy and maintain the house itself), while those higher costs you say to be for those fancy balls you told about...
Keeping it as is would be the current rules where it works much like a club party. Which would be fine I think for the informal gatherings; if you're only paying carousing costs it doesn't need to give SP on top of that. Buying and maintaining the house already gives regular and reliable SP! But the three types of parties (informal drinks, dinner parties and extravagant balls) would give people a choice. More choice is always good I think.
All that would need doing is working out drinks costs for informal parties, if we do go with the set price idea.
I do think I need to look at houses. It mostly works, but Rooms are a nice idea that seem largely pointless! And I have some ideas for letting people live in specific areas of Paris. I like that concept, but I'm not sure if it would work.
But your idea would also work, allowing for just informal soirées or full parties
Agreed. That's why I said he better have a good reason. Even if Huillaume wanted to invite Philibert to reward his good service as aide, this enourmous social difference would produce rumors (loss of SPs) at least...
Yeah, I might put that in. Hasn't come up at all, but some people don't like feeling that stuff like that has been decided by GM fiat rather than the rules.
