Dear Friends,
Give three cheers to the Almighty for his blessings upon my recent escape from the clutches of traitors!
Give three more cheers for those brave true patriots who heeded the call to arms and marched upon Burgundy! They marched and fought to save theirPresident Premier (and popular) Physician, the Commissioner of Public Safety, Viscomte de Ploërmel, Lord De'Ath. Those that perished nobly in the struggle shall not be forgotten and I ask Fr. Souris to say a collective mass in their memories.
Now I'm free to strike back, the first blow has already been struck....that irritating cell guard who kept refusing to let me escape, despite good money being offered, and who I very much suspect was doing 'nasty things' to my meals! He'll not be laughing anymore, not with a broken neck!!
I shall be issuing my demands and further calls for actions friends can take so that we get Lyon and Séguier. Keep your ears and eyes open, instructions to follow.
