Lord De’Ath attended to the medical needs of the regimental commander of the Crown Prince’s Cuirassiers for a wound suffered during the Summer Campaign. Later in the month, the docteur attended much needed etiquette classes at Madame Dushene’s.
The Hoffmans departed Paris for Burgundy to celebrate the baptism of their son, Johann, with their families.
Mdm d’Armagnac was seen carousing at her club in the first week of September.
Mssr Jean d’Eau spent the entire month at his club, the Blue Gables.
Lord Bougiedure attended the reception for the envoy from the Holy Roman Emperor with his sister, Brigette Bougiedure. The Grand Duc appeared disappointed that Lord Huillaume was not in attendance.
Both Grand Ducs were seen at the Royal Ball in the third week of September. The Lords engaged in a friendly competition to demonstrate the greater wit. The court is divided over who won the close affair. Lady Bougiedure amazed those in attendance with her grace and skill on the dance floor.
Lord Huillaume and Lord Bougiedure both attended to government duties at meetings in the last week of the month. The Minister of State gave a good speech but there was little else of interest to report
