Not wanting to reopen old debates, but point 8.2 is contradictory with Apendix A about increasing skills...
I guess the table about it in Apendix A is obsolete and went there by error.

I don't find the rules for Military Accademy...
I guess the former ones (3 weeks in a row, +.05 to MA and 50 Lv per course) stand...

An earlier revision of the rules had a section 19.0 Military Ability and The Military Academy which appears to have disappeared when Sam made the rewrite of the careers. I will add it back in to Section 20 Army for version 1.2
The Military Academy exists to improve standards of strategy, tactics and leadership. Courses take 3 weeks, cost 50L and raise the character's ability by 0.5

23.1: Artists:
I understand the artwork result is determined by a single roll at the end of it (so that the DM for the number of weeks may apply). Is this right?

The bonus for the number of weeks spent working on a work of art is to the ability, not the die roll. Per 23.2 Artists roll when the work is completed. A bonus or penalty to ability is gained, depending on the amount of time spent.

As costs for carousing are now fixed (at least on clubs), what are they on horseraces Pavilions or owner boxes?
