My friends,
I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I am very disappointed by the lack of response to our rescue mission for poor Fr. Chatten.
Only 1 squad member replied and that was to decline but, instead, offer some financial support. It may be that the rest of you are of similar thought so let's make a change of plan, instead of us going we can finance a separate rescue squad to go in our place!
If you can all send your financial contributions to me I'll organise the squad and the ship and we can set about freeing our dear clergyman friend, I reckon we need to put in at least 100 livres each, more for those who can afford it.
