The wording is a little unclear (to me at least) if the PC and Mistress count against the guest limit. Suggest either “The hosting PC and mistress do not count against the guest limit” or “The hosting PC and mistress count as guest for the purpose of calculating ‘guest limit’.”
Does the number of guests round up or down for calculating additional SP? i.e. if there are 7 guests total, does the host receive 1 additional SP or 2 additional SP?
Also, does the Hostess count as a guest for the purpose of calculating additional SP?
Do hosts receive an extra SP for carousing?
Is the 20L for musician in lieu of or in addition to the cost to hire the musicians?
Does this modifier apply to any regiments aside from Cardinal’s Guard, Queen’s Carabiniers, Crown Prince’s Cuirassiers, and King’s Cuirassiers, and Anjou Dragoons?
Is there a reason that a Grandee would be less likely to attend a PC Grand Ball than a PC Private Dinner? I would recommend that the higher echelons of the nobility receive favorable DMs for Grandee attendance as per 40.13 (DMs: +3 for Marquis(se) +4 for Duc(hesse) and +5 for Grand Duc(hesse)).
I assume that Marquis would receive the +1 modifer as well

The wording is a little unclear (to me at least) if the PC and Mistress count against the guest limit. Suggest either “The hosting PC and mistress do not count against the guest limit” or “The hosting PC and mistress count as guest for the purpose of calculating ‘guest limit’.” It's the former and I'll clarify it. I think rounded down unless people think otherwise? No, the bonuses for hostesses are already figured in. I don't see why not. The latter (which I suspect will be the least of the worries for anyone hosting a ball. No, that's all of them. It's a very different situation; guest of honour at an intimate gathering versus a full ball. I may need to make this clearer, but only one grandee will count for the bonus for club parties/private dinners, unlike Balls. Because the Balls have rolls made for all grandees, overall it's much more likely that one or several grandees will turn up I think. Giving it the higher DMs looks like it makes that too likely. Well spotted, that should be Marquis instead of Comte not as well of.
