I'm highlighting these because I'm afraid it's the one thing that is a bit of a nerf, especially when it comes to investment returns. (I think even those who have benefited likely see that the originals were a bit o/p). That said, I'm hoping that it feels like I've dealt with this by adding new abilities and making things more interesting (the specialisation rules at the end of the section) rather than just taking things away. So, from now on, the bound for investments are only for investment bankers, no longer for other (including general with smaller shos)?
Possible errata:
Horses merchant, deluxe boutique:
SHouldn't it be "near Paris"?

Should that be "bonuses", if so yes?
And that one's a typo, well spotted!

I meant, this bonus is now only for some merchants, due to specialities (and so, smaller ones may not have any). Is that right?
Another question:
From Merchants, investment Banker:
From Investments and foreign expeditions:
Are those doubling cumulative (so such a merchant sailing in an expedition having the benefits quadrupled)?
See that any merchant sailing with such an expedition "risks" a title roll, as per 39.14:
BTW, this sentence seems unfinished, and contradictory with 15.3, where such return from an expeditions "only" gives 3 MIR...

Although also note that Chevalier is fine. (To an extent, titles beyond that are a way of shifting careers. Especially under the new rules, by that point merchants should be very rich indeed! That sentence should be removed entirely.

Then there's no advantage, as it is the same as any other character. I'd suggest to change it (e.g. giving him this same advantage even if he doesn't embark in the expedition)

Oh, I think I misunderstood you. Someone going on an expedition gets an extra 100% of the standard return. A merchant doing so gets an extra 200%.

I understood in both cases they doubled the profits. In any case, I'd suggest to give such merchants some bonus on them even if they don't embark, to allow them to profit from them without "risking" title rolls (e.g. if they don't embark, double benefits, if they do, triple it ,as now they do)...

I guess even those specialized shops use the general rules for having customers (32.2 and 32.3), and so one can still declare them as suppliers, even if not using anything related with the specialization... Is this right?

That is correct.
