Mon cher amis,
Destiny has brought me to Paris, Europe's City of Culture!
I am setting up a studio at home where I intend to concentrate on producing some of the finest works of art yet to grace a canvass. Thanks to the grace of the Almighty I have been gifted with a talent for painting across a wide spectrum of subjects, be they personal portraits, scenic, religious, military or wildlife. I prefer to specialize in portraits so if you have a loved one that would benefit from a lifelong gift or merely wish to see yourself adorning a wall within your home contact me and I will be happy to oblige.
I have a portfolio of past works available to peruse at your leisure so you can see the quality of my work AND my prices cater to all purses, be they large or small. It is my style to match a client with affordability at no detriment to the quality so if you are short on finance have no fear that the work will be compromised.
As a special introductory offer I am willing to complete a free commission, of your choice, to the lucky winner of an everyone welcome raffle that I am holding. To be included simply notify me of your interest and I will include you in the draw that will be held in the first week of November at an event I am holding at my club, Blue Gables. The event, 'Pierre's Party', is also open to all and I am offering free drink and refreshments to any who attend!
I look forward to seeing you all my friends,
Pierre Flump aka Pierre The Painter

Monsieur Flump,
I would be honored to be part of your gathering in the following month. The Gables is a formidable place an I would love to see your paintings.
I still need a portrait of myself for the office at the univeristy.
Your friend in christ.
Abbe Robin
P.S.: Let me also offer you to visit my sermons in week 2 and if you are in need of a confessor I would be delighted to help you.

Dear Abbe Robin,
I am most grateful for your interest in my work and for accepting my open invitation to attend the gathering I have planned for the 1st week of November at Blue Gables.
As promised I shall ensure that your name is entered into the raffle I am holding and I wish you the best of luck in the draw, as it currently stands yours in the first entry and thus guaranteed to win unless others notify me of their interest.
Being a pious man I further look forward to attending your sermon in week 2.
Best wishes,
Pierre Flump aka Pierre The Painter

Monsieur Flump,
I applaud your enterprise and ambition! We Jansenist are known as supporters of industry, and those who please God with hard work in his name.
I would be remiss if I did not, at the least, promote your skills and I feel it fitting that my sermon on the fourth week will highlight your works.
And may the Lord forgive my weakness but I feel I must also support you in person. I will gladly attend your display, with hopes of being chosen. I have always loved the Normandy coastline and a rendition of such from you would be perfect for my rooms.
If possible I wonder if I may have a moment of your time during the Party so we may discuss the matter of your immortal soul?
With kindest regards
Father Bassee
An afterthought, I know my friend Abbe Robin has given you the offer of becoming your personal confessor but I also extend the same offer. Confession is good for both the immortal soul and living flesh as it expunges sin. Even if you choose the good Abbe over myself I strongly recommend you take one of us!
(OOC Requesting permission to toady at the party)

Father Bassee,
Most kind of you and I am heartened to read your words.
Most certainly you are welcome to my forthcoming party and I shall be sure to have a conversation with you about salvation as well as Normandy, a place I have visited several times before.
In regards to your offer of becoming my personal confessor I, once again, am most grateful and will be sure to decide upon either your good self or Abbe Robin in the near future.
Sincere regards,
Pierre Flump aka Pierre the Painter
(OOC yes no problem re toadying)
