My friends,
Further to my notification to follow a future life of Holy Orders several good folk amongst you have offered advice, comment and a plea for me to remain committed to the medical path.
Being the genuine and approachable fellow that I am it seems fair to me to heed the majority view of the people (well not all of them, just you prominent ones!) and accept whatever is chosen for me....THUS....I have created a 'Peoples Poll' wherein I post the following options and seek your votes for the way forward.
Please take the time to cast your vote, either by public declaration or personal message to me, you can vote as per the below, one vote each just let me know if's that is for either Option A,B,C or D.....I declare the Poll open from now until 6 days time (OOC Thursday 28th April) -
A. Bastian is a brilliant docteur, a true legend in the medical field, such knowledge, expertise and at hand availability cannot be lost to us. I vote for Bastian to remain in post as Paris's Premier Physician.
B. It's only right that Bastian heeds the Lord's calling and embraces Holy Orders, courtesy of the Jesuit Order. By doing so he offers a counter to false faiths and champions His Holiness and the Catholic Church (plus, that means, he might be able to be come Grand Inquisitor and then can burn all those heretics out there! Hurrah as I hear he has got a list already!). I vote for Bastian to become a Priest.
C. Well, maybe both options have their merits? What's to stop a versatile chap like Bastian combining the two roles, a sort of multi-tasking set up, and then he doubles his value to France and we all benefit. Yes, yes, that's it and I vote for Bastian to continue as a Docteur but also to undertake 12 weeks of theological study so he is then able to sort of do both.
D. Actually none of those are what's best for Bastian. The man is cut out for more than attending to leaking bowels and boils or stuck in a pulpit churning out tedious sermons. This man is destined for Government and, more specifically, the office of Commissioner of Public Safety!! Bastian will keep our cities and streets clear of traitors and criminal types, he's a man with focus and passion. When he's Commissioner he can then start arresting those types and I hear he has a list already, hurrah! I vote for Bastian to just concentrate on becoming CPS and, what's more, so determined am I that he gets the job I'll use whatever influence I can to help him.
So, there you have it my friends. Make sure you vote,lets make France great again lets do the best for Bastian and the best for you and your families.
