Mssr. Colonel,
It has come to my attention, whilst conversing with my friend the Minister of War, Viscomte de Dammartinn, that your regiment is understrength despite being included in the army list for the upcoming Summer Campaign against the Spanish. In my role as Controller-General of Finances, I have ensured that there are sufficient funds to fully man and arm your regiment. I encourage you to make full use of the funding and enlist all abled-bodied recruits that may present themselves at your barracks.
