To the Rank and File of the Royal Foot Guard:

as it is public, HM intends to visit the Spanish border this month. 1^st and 3^rd Companies of the RFG, under my personal command, will accompany him as escort. 2^dn and 4^th Companies will remain in Paris, under temporary command of Brevet Brigadier Bonnet.

So, all men from the 1^st and 3^rd companies should present on May 1^st ready to march.
