Right, it was with your characters, and neither CM ha naything against your latter charactersnote1 nor they against him.
That was partially by design as well. Generally, I deliberately give new characters reasons not to clash with the PCs the old character clashed with.
Note 1: while this enterily true, the fact Sam's latter character has enterend CM rival regiment may lead to some "disagreements", but it has nothing to do with previous ones.
Unfortunately I've had to drop out for now due to work commitments, but that one was actually completely by accident. But even there, you'll have noticed that Basil isn't someone who takes regimental rivalries particularly seriously or insults people over them.
I actually understand why Jason is coming from, probably much more than you. In games where I'm a player, I'm frequently PvP focused. (I run PvP heavy LARP, I was a PKer in Urban Dead, I was in the main PvP clan in Kingdom of Loathing etc.)
But alongside that, especially in Liminal which has more PvP rules than most En Garde! games, it's just worth me being aware that other people may not find that style of gaming as fun as I do. (Especially here, where the game also is going to attract non PvP focused players.
I've already tried to keep interactins to minimum, so, not on my part.
Cool. You both seem good with that, so I think minimal but not absolutely banned because that's not feasible, as you've both pointed out.
I am thinking on reflection it might be better just to retcon the latest events entirely.
My thinking there is that on one hand Lluis doesn't actually want a PvP war arising from this. But it's not fair on Jason to have him taken to court and not be allowed to retaliate through the PvP rules.
What do you both think to that possibility?
