Sieur de la Azur,
I'm afraid I will not able to attend your party, as, aside I'm not in the mood and will probably not be a good company, I'm in duty the fourth week.
I hope you and your guests will enjoy it
Baron Lagarde

Sieur Renald,
I would be delighted to join you at Bothwells in Week 4 to drink to the health of the King and ring in the New Year. I assume that female companions are permitted as the salutation was to both Gentlemen and Ladies.
Respectfully, Sieur Jacques Bougiedure Captain, Dragoon Guards

OOC: Toadying is mandatory at parties so I assume only those of SL 10+ are invited!

Sir, I was delighted to hear that you were hosting a New Year's Eve party this year. Once I have cleared up the necessary paperwork that always results from an extended stay at the Front, I would be grateful for the chance to attend. It will be a welcome change from the exigencies of camp life, and a wonderful opportunity to renew my acquaintance with Society. I trust that there would be no objection to me bringing along a lady friend, if I am so lucky as to catch the eye of one of the beuties of the City? Although I have been so long away, I may find myself too tongue-tied to be much good at conversation. And I am afraid that the tales told in the Mess may be unsuitable for the ears of the Baroness!
Yours respectfully
Guillaume Fitzbraose

Sieur de la Azur,
thank you for your kind invitation. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet you far from any battles to be fought. As it will be my first visit to a Paris club, I hope not to be a disappointment, when I am not acquainted with the savoir vivre of this grand city. Please forgive any faux pas that may happen to me.
Expecting a great celebration at the turn of the year I remain respectfully yours Guy d´Avranches
