As it is the Season of celebrating Christ's Earthly Birth, Canon de la Bassee will be holding Midnight Mass on the EVE of the Lord's arrival in the THIRD week.
All pious Parisians are encouraged to attend the Cathedral of Reims and raise voices in the name of God.

MOnsigneur de la Bassé,
I'm afraid the Baroness and myself will not yet be at Paris after the funeral of my brother Luc, but be sure our prayers will join yours, wherever we are.
Baron Lagarde

Cannon de la Bassee,
I must urge you to give serious consideration to allowing this rascal Lagarde to even enter a church.
His life is one of numerous sins, many of these sins of the most dreadful nature, and surely excommunication should be the Church's response to a sinner like him. As you know my Champion is shortly to do battle with him and it will be most fitting when the swine dies that he does so without recourse to the last rites and his body interred in a grave somewhere outside of the City walls.
As a tolerant Emperor I give you my assurance that should you take heed of my words you and your church will be safe from Roman interference and allowed to continue practicing, alongside our more orthodox Roman Gods.
Emperor Claudius

Monsieur Claud D'Applaud,
I have taken a moment from my preparations to send what I hope is a well recieved missive.
I have consulted the Lord, and find that you are in great peril. You current actions and words are heresey. As a man of the cloth I have no alternative but to inform those who no-one expects.
I will pray for you my son, and hope that you find absolution.
