As we're starting to see characters trying to volunteer for the front some reminders!
You may want to make a will if you don't want your money all going to the Crown in the case of your demise. You can leave your money to anyone except your next character. (Giving another player money to hold and then getting them to transfer it back is considered cheating).
Remember that with the regimental surgeon rules it's possible for your death rolls to be modified by an extra +/- 1 either way, so the safe bet is to reduce it to 13+.
A roll of 12 (which is only a 1 in 36 chance) will lead to a 50% chance of dying and a 50% chance of rolling on the "dicing with death" table if your death chance is 12 or more. There is always risk involved at the front.
