To celebrate the success and the scandal caused by my new novel The Degradation Of Robin, I will be holding a party at Hunters on the fourth week of the month to tell all about the work that caused Celeste Ludenburg to describe me as " Rather talented".
I wish to celebrate with my friends and put to rest some of the crueler gossip that has sadly tried to overshadow my minor work of some acclaim.
Anyone is of course welcome to attend but if you are perhaps of the sort who would not generally be welcome in such establishment simply turn up to the Mass I will be giving on the second week of the month to let me know you will be attending and I am sure there will be no issues. I am sorry to say without this advance notice the matter will be quite out of my hands.
I will not personally be indulging in drinking that night myself. I feel the actions of some in church have hurt our reputation with unregulated debauchery recently and I would not wish to give any impression that I myself am involved in such matters. For this reason I am afraid people will have to purchase any refreshments themselves.
