Lieutenant Renard de La Azur,
Is this be in conjunction with the wake to which you invited Parisians some time ago, as it appears to be scheduled for the same week ?

Madame Bacque,
The art show is in the following Month October not this coming Month September.
Curate Dieudonné Lachapelle and myself are just giving the great and good of Paris advance notice so any budding artists can create wonders for our enjoyment.

Ah, my apologies. I look forward to accompanying you to the service and wake in September, but regret that I doubt I will be able to attend the art show.

Lieutenant De La Azur,
I note with interest the advance notification of your October art showing alongside my clergyman of choice, Father Lachapelle. Will the art on display be of, shall we say, a Gentleman's nature? I'm asking for a friend of course since if Father Lachepelle is involved I'm sure that all will be in good taste and so forth.
"Mores the pity!" thought Jacques. It wouldn't do to have Angnes seen ogling other womens...charms even if they were on canvas and not in the flesh but you never know, it might open her mind to some other possibilities. His mind wandered for a few pleasant minutes before the sound of glass breaking in the room next door broke his reverie.
"GEORGES! What in blue blazes are you doing?" His manservant appeared to be hanging from the ceiling candle holder with one hand, a smashed what appeared to be bottle on the floorboards beneath him and several feet away a stool on it's side.
"But sir, you told me to get rid of the spider on the ceiling so I was trying to catching it in this bottle to put it outside but it moved".
"Georges.."
"yes master?"
"You're an imbecile"
"Thank you sir"
Jacques returned to his letter.
I shall await word before mentioning it to my beloved Angnes in case it not be suitable, but rest assured so long as I'm not at the Front I'll be there. I look forward to making your acquaintance this coming month at the memorial for your fine regimental chaps.
Regards,
Jacques.
"Oh Georges. Be a good chap and take this round to Lieutenant de la Azur's place would you."

Monsieur Jacques D'Mestos,
As far as i am aware none of the art that will be on display is of a scandalous nature and should be safe for your Friend.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your lady.

To any and all who are curious
The piece I will be displaying is one I have been working on for a number of months now, it is a novel which tell's the story of a flawed mans fall from grace after turning to sin and later follows his attempt at redemption, to go along with my written piece I have personally illustrated some of the key scenes of the novel. I hope my humble work will find favour with the good people of this city. It has very much been a labour of love for me and I do believe working on something like this has guided me in my work as a man of god.
Kind Regards
Father Dieudonné Lachapelle

Dear Curate Robin
I must say I personally would be glad to have you bring along your own work, the presence of other priests is always very comforting to me and I would love you hear your critique of my project.
Kind Regards
Father Dieudonné Lachapelle

Father Lachapelle,
it flatters me that you think so highly of my artistic skills but the last month have shown me that my talents are elsewhere. Nevertheless I look forward seeing your fine work and hope to share a few words with you on the process of creating your new piece of art.
Your friend in christ.
Curate Francois Robin
