Sorry about the delay; spent yesterday in bed with some kind of fatigue bug.
The CPS has announced that he will be pressing charges against Monsieur Spaghetti.
How this works:
Week 1 will be taken up with the trial.
Obviously, Monsieur Spaghetti has to attend!
Witnesses must make themselves known through the press or to the GM. They must be of an equal or higher SL than the accused, and may not be from the same, friendly or enemy regiment. They must spend that week's action attending the trial, and may not remain anonymous. Witnesses do not have to tell the truth, and may send a summary of their testimony or with their orders. Up to two witnesses may attend for both sides (prosecution and defense).
Because GS is currently in gaol awaiting trial, the duel will take place either next month (if he's found not guilty) or after he's freed (if he's found guilty!)
The Judge is the City Governor who requires a Level 5 Favour to influence. (Or a bribe of 650 but that comes with its own dangers).

That lousy CPS f****r, it's all a damned conspiracy I tell you! What next poor Giuseppi to be found 'hanged' in his cell before the trial?!

Is it OK to attend the trial without putting yourself forward as a witness as i believe Monsieur Spaghetti will have a riot of people beating the way to his door to help him.

It's fine, although you'll hear the results either way!

It's a lie, it's all a D$%N lie, GS is a fine upstanding citizen, I say!
